Who We Are

Welcome to Circe-Argent!

Circe Argent is a family-oriented British Traditional Wicca Coven that has been in existence for over 7 years. Our High Priestess was trained in Britain and emigrated to Canada over 20 years ago and is a daughter of a British Traditional Wicca initiate.

Our coven's ethics are built upon the Celtic Creed:
Do no evil. Honour thy Gods. Defend thy honour

We choose to celebrate the four Greater and Lesser Sabbats with our friends and sister covens, while adhering strongly to the Brehon Laws of Hospitality which can be found below.
We are not pantheon specific, per se, but our main focus is upon the Gods and Goddesses of the British Isles, which include, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, not all of which are exclusively 'Celtic'.
Initiates in our line can be found in Britain, the United States. Germany and here in Canada.

Our Coven respects the Laws of Hospitality:

Oineach ~ Honour -
One's 'face' or reputation within the community. The members of the community judge one's honour or lack of it not the individual by their words and their deeds. Indracus ~ Honesty -
Possessing flawless integrity and openness to dealing with others.

Coir ~ Justice -
Characterized by behaving in accordance with the Divine truth. We must live up to the truth as dictated by a higher power or the Gods. Meisnech ~ Courage -
To maintain control over one's emotions or mood and focus on the task at hand, no matter how unpleasant or distasteful and see it through to its completion.

Tairise ~ Loyalty -
A state of trust, and also behaving in accordance with the higher powers. Oigidecht - Hospitality -
Helping people who are not of your tribe, or household or community, welcoming guests and strangers and offering them better than what you would have for yourself.
